NACC Scottish Regional Care Cook of the Year Competition

This year we were proud to sponsor the NACC’s Scottish Regional Care Cook of the Year Competition. Our very own Mark Taylor, Foodservice Channel Controller, attended the regional meeting at West Lothian College (WLC) as a guest speaker, updating attendees on the latest from Premier Foods. Due to the bad weather, the renowned Scottish Chef, Tony Singh was unable to attend alongside WLC chef and lecturer Andy McDougall therefore Mark stepped in and helped to judge the Cook Off which saw extremely high standards from all the caterers who entered. It was a tough decision for the judges, but the winner was Alan Innes, chef at Appin House for Fife Council, congratulations!

A big thank you all the organisers and to Margaret Clarke, the NACC Scottish Regional Chair, who managed the very successful event.
