Braised Cabbage

Shredded cabbage braised with sultanas, red onions and Bisto Vegetable Bouillon.

  • 1000g Red Cabbage - sliced
  • 250g Red Onion - Sliced
  • 200g Sultanas
  • 20g Bisto Vegetable Bouillon Paste
  • 1000ml Water


  1. Place cabbage, red onions and sultanas into an ovenproof dish
  2. Make up Bisto vegetable bouillon by mixing with boiling water
  3. Pour over cabbage, onions and sultanas
  4. Cover with a lid and braise for approximately 45 minutes
