Homepride Vegetable Jambalaya

Long grain rice, cooked in Homepride Arrabiata Sauce with vegetables and finished with lime juice.

Serving Size: 200g


  • 50ml Vegetable oil
  • 50g ¬†Onion (1cm dice)
  • 100g Mixed peppers (1cm dice)
  • 50g Celery (finely sliced)
  • 500g Long grain rice
  • 500g Water
  • 600g Homepride Arrabiata Sauce
  • 200g Courgette (1cm chopped)
  • 1 Large lime (sliced into 10)


  • In a large pan, sweat off the onion, peppers and celery in the oil for approx 3 minutes.
  • Add the rice, water and Homepride Arrabiata sauce and place on the stove.
  • Bring to the boil and simmer (stirring occasionally) for approx 10 minutes, then add the courgette.
  • Cook for another 5 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked.
  • Serve with a slice of lime.
